WHO I AM
I'm Jess. I'm the creator of KNOTS.
My work grew from my own experience of feeling stuck in patterns I could see very clearly but for some reason couldn't seem to change. The kind of loops where you understand the problem completely, yet somehow find yourself back in the same place again.
Through years of exploring therapy, psychology, neuroscience, science, spirituality, breathwork, and conversational hypnotherapy, I began to understand why. Most of our automatic behaviour is run by the subconscious. And the subconscious isn't trying to create the life you consciously want. It's trying to repeat what it once learned was survivable.
KNOTS grew from that understanding.
What I also came to see is that your beliefs don't just colour your experience of life. They construct it. Your brain actively builds your reality from deeply installed beliefs formed mostly before you were seven. Filtering what you notice, how you interpret events, who you become in relationships, how money moves, how your body feels. Until those beliefs are updated at the level where they actually live, the pattern keeps running regardless of how much insight you have.
That's what KNOTS does. Not talk about the belief. Update it.
Because when those knots begin to loosen, things start to shift in ways that often feel surprisingly simple.
MY TRAINING
I trained in Conversational Hypnotherapy with Hypnosis by Lilli and am a certified breathwork practitioner through The Being Method.
My real training has been years of working across hypnotherapy, breathwork, somatic work, nervous system regulation, inner child work, and memory reconsolidation. Learning where each approach reached and where it didn't, and combining them into one cohesive system.
Since starting KNOTS I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, helping them untangle the loops keeping them stuck. So they can move forward and create the space for new ways of responding to life. This isn't surface-level talk therapy or mindset coaching. It's careful, collaborative subconscious belief work.
MY APPROACH
I don't believe you're broken.
I believe that earlier in life your subconscious, working through your nervous system, learned certain rules to keep you safe. At the time those rules made sense. But over the years they can quietly turn into limits. They shape how you react in relationships, how you handle stress, how you see yourself, how money moves, how your body feels, and how you move through the world.
KNOTS is about finding those beliefs and updating them.
Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we breathe. Sometimes we do both.
You are always in control of your experience. My role is to guide, not override.
Most people who come to KNOTS are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware. A lot of them have done therapy, read the books, reflected deeply. Yet something still repeats. That's usually where our work begins.
